Account Information: Email, password (hashed), full name, phone number, role.
Barber Listing Information: Listing name, description, geographic coordinates (never shown as raw coordinates to customers), business phone (shown only to verified customers), availability, subscription status.
Portfolio Images: Stored on Supabase Storage and served via a public CDN. Do not upload images containing private location information.
Location Information (Customers): With your permission, we access your GPS coordinates solely to sort nearby listings by distance. We do NOT store your location on our servers.
Booking Information: Date/time, status, and Stripe payment confirmation metadata (no card numbers stored).
Usage Data: Log data, device type, app version, and crash reports for debugging.
Waitlist Information (Pre-Launch): If you join the waitlist on our website, we collect your email, a password (hashed), your marketing email preference, and the time and source of your signup. Joining creates a real Cutlas account — the one you'll log into the app with at launch. Waitlist accounts can request deletion before launch the same as any account.
We do NOT sell your personal information.
We do NOT use your data for targeted advertising.
Marketing communications: newsletters and product updates are sent only with your express opt-in consent (a separate, unchecked-by-default checkbox), withdrawable anytime via the unsubscribe link in every marketing email or by emailing cutlased@gmail.com. Waitlist members also receive a single one-time launch-announcement email as a service message, regardless of newsletter opt-in.
Barber coordinates are coarsened — rounded to three decimal places (an approximately 110-meter grid) — before being stored and before being used in any customer-facing context. Exact home addresses cannot be reverse-engineered from distance data shown to customers.
Barber phone numbers are hidden behind email verification (a one-time code sent to the email on your account). Only verified customers can view contact details.
We do not share personal information with any other third parties without your consent.
Account data is retained while your account is active. Deletion requests are processed within 30 days. Portfolio images are deleted from storage within 30 days of account deletion.
You may request access, correction, deletion, or export of your data by emailing cutlased@gmail.com.
Cutlas is intended only for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a person under 18 gave us data, contact cutlased@gmail.com and we will delete it and close the account.
